Anntreal Hemmingway-Smith joined the Crestmark team in 1998 and works out of the Troy, Michigan office. She has over 20 years experience in commercial lending, commercial real estate, management accounting and human resources. Her long-time relationships with local bankers, turn-around consultants, and growth organizations in the metro Detroit area make her a valued resource to business owners seeking asset-based financing.
Anntreal is a member of the Women’s Business Council, Great Lakes region; serves on the board of directors for the Metropolitan Growth & Development Corporation, and was honored with an outstanding achievement award in 2010 for her volunteer work assisting women and minority businesses with CEED (The Center for Empowerment & Economic Development). She is also a member of the Commercial Finance Association (CFA), Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Risk Management Association (RMA), and several other industry and regional associations.
Anntreal attended the University of Detroit for pre-law and has a B.S. in Marketing from University of Phoenix.
She enjoys spending time with her two children, is active at her church, and always enjoys a chance to go ballroom dancing or shopping.
